PC Based DVR are DVR devices that integrate to PCI Cards. It provides several pros & cons compared to standalone DVR units. i.e. it is more affordable, simpler to install, expandable up to 4 pci cards running parallel in one PC, and more flexible on choosing the hard drive. However, it DOES NOT compatible with Windows Vista nor Mac OS. For Linux based cards, please call us for availability. We recommend Windows XP SP2 for running PC based DVRs.
